Just Eat Compensation Claim

Leve-me para a página em português.

If you currently work for Just Eat, or have done in the last ten weeks, you can make a claim for compensation.

In February 2021, the Supreme Court ruled that Uber taxi drivers would be classified as workers. Workers are entitled to certain legal protections and benefits, such as holiday pay, sick pay and the national minimum wage. This sets a very strong precedent to argue that Just Eat workers should receive these same benefits.

Just Eat has denied you workers’ rights since they started, and you can receive compensation for their failure to provide them.

The IWGB union has negotiated a deal with major law firm Leigh Day for this claim. As an IWGB member, you will benefit from a reduced commission from Leigh Day on any compensation should the claim be successful. It is ordinarily 25% commission plus VAT (total of 30%), but will be 20% commission plus VAT (total of 24%) for union members.

This 6% difference could save you hundreds, even thousands of pounds.

In addition, Leigh Day will be representing our members on a “no win, no fee” basis, meaning that there will be no cost to you for joining the claim.

If you would like to be part of the claim, then sign up below!

It only takes a few minutes to get started. You do not need to provide any documents at this stage. To find out if you are eligible to join the claim, just fill in the form below. Once we have assessed your eligibility to make a claim, we will get in touch with you to let you know if we can proceed.

If you are eligible to make a claim, Leigh Day will then need you to provide more details and relevant documents. At this stage, it is not possible for us to give a prediction of how long your claim will take to be concluded to a satisfactory outcome. This will depend on any complexities arising within the claim.

The IWGB is the largest union for delivery riders in the UK. Whether or not you want to make a claim, you should become a union member today.

As an IWGB member you will be part of an active, grassroots union led by riders, which is campaigning for better working lives and for justice, dignity and respect for all.

As well as fighting for better rights at Just Eat, we have won pay rises and recognition agreements, free parking space from local councils, and respect from restaurants. You can find out more about our campaigns and join the union.
