victory_banner.jpgBREAKING NEWS!!! After negotiations with Mach1, Union membership have accepted an offer of a pay rise, which will bring Mach1 riders into the region of earning the London Living Wage plus costs. This is the 3rd major victory for the Union. The package includes a 75p increase on minimum dockets, a significant increase on waiting time and helper jobs, also wait and return jobs will pay the full sum of each leg of the journey. Monumentally Mach1 have also agreed to waive mandatory equipment rental fees, which is a direct recognition of the exploitative nature of circuit fees. They also agreed to provide or at least subsidise the cost of clothing. These changes will be implemented from the 1st of August 2016. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
