IWGB Cleaners and Facilities Branch

The IWGB represents cleaners, hospitality workers and domestic workers in London. We're taking a stand against outsourcing, low pay and harassment.

We've won demands at places like the Royal College of Art and the elite private members' club 5 Hertford Street and supported hundreds of people facing unjust working conditions.

We are grateful to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation for providing ongoing funding to support the work of the IWGB Cleaners and Facilities Branch. Read our February 2019 report on how we built workplace campaigns and an active branch with their support.

Activities Centre

The IWGB runs a regular Activities Centre for Spanish-speaking workers in London. We've collaborated with organisations like Latin-American Women's Rights Services and London Renters Union to run workshops on everything from health and safety at work to tenants' rights.
