Careers

The IWGB is a dynamic union representing precarious and marginalised workers across several industries and sectors. We’re a fast-growing organisation based in London. If you've got a drive to support worker-led campaigns or represent people facing problems at work, then we want to hear from you.

IWGB staff come from different walks of life and different parts of the world. Languages spoken at IWGB include Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English.

All staff at the IWGB receive the same hourly wage of London Living Wage plus £3 an hour (currently £16.15 per hour). There is an optional pension scheme by which employees may pay 6% or 12% of their monthly salary and the union makes a 13% contribution. Staff receive 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time employees) and 6 months’ sick pay.

As an organisation that fights for workers’ rights, we strongly believe no applicant or employee should face discrimination or harassment based on their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, age, or marital domestic partner status. You can read more in the IWGB Statement of Inclusivity. We will take your access needs seriously both in the application/interview process, and in the job role itself.

Any current opening will be displayed on this page. If you have any questions, please email applications@iwgb.co.uk.

If you’d like to get involved on a volunteer basis, then check out our volunteering page or email volunteer@iwgb.co.uk.
