The IWGB organises in sectors where low pay and unfair treatment are all too common. By volunteering with the union, you can play a part in making sure that every union member is supported and that every campaigning opportunity is taken up!
If you can help with casework, recruitment, research, translation, phone-banking members or anything else, then sign up to join the IWGB Volunteer Network!
Volunteering with the union can be a great way to gain practical experience of workplace organising and employment law. Speaking Spanish or Portuguese or having some experience in trade union organising or employment law are especially helpful skills.
If you have any questions, get in touch with us at [email protected].
Volunteering isn’t the only way you can get involved. If you are looking to start organising at your own workplace but you aren’t eligible for any of our existing branches, then think about signing up to join the Holding Branch.
