The IWGB has released its response to the BEIS and DWP Select Committees, welcoming the recommended increased enforcement of employment law and to not recommend the Taylor Review’s proposal to alter the minimum wage.

However, the IWGB also states that making control the main focus in deciding employment status is a grave concern and should be dropped immediately. Furthermore, we are disappointed that the report does not recommend the extension of other rights, such as sick pay, to limb b workers.
